Air Camp 2010

Where will you be...


Blackhawk Area Council is pleased to announce that AIRCAMP 2010 is here.
Continuing the Journey is our theme for the 100th year anniversary encampment.

When: September 24-26, 2010.

All units are welcome to attend.
Boy Scouts and Venturing will be Camping over the weekend, along with the second year Webelos.
Cub Scouts are welcome to attend on Saturday September 25th, 2010.

Air Camp Activities Staff Application  (Staff still needs to register and pay the registration fee of $15 if camping or $5 if participating just on Saturday)

For Boy Scouts Only
You have an opportunity take a short smail airplane flight as part of the EAA Young Eagles program. Due to limited seating it is recommended you get your EAA Young Eagles Registration form in early. The number of flights is subject to change due to weather conditions and the number of planes. The following form needs to be filled out. Send the completed form to the Council office by August 31, 2010. Make a copy of the completed form and bring it to Air Camp as a backup.

For Venturers Pistol Shooting at AirCamp will be offered. The following forms need to be filled out. Send completed forms to the Council office by August 31, 2010. Make a copy of the completed form and bring it to Air Camp as a backup.

For Venturers Shotgun Shooting at AirCamp will be offered. The following forms need to be filled out. Send completed forms to the Council office by August 31, 2010. Make a copy of the completed form and bring it to Air Camp as a backup.
Plug & Pellet Sportsmans's Club New Shooter Sheet

Venturers will have the opportunity to participate in canoeing and intro to scuba. The events will be held on the river and at Aircamp, respectively. Boy Scouts may participate in the intro to scuba IF there is space available. Send completed forms to the Council office by August 31, 2010. Make a copy of the completed form and bring it to Air Camp as a backup.

We will have several different items including Military Aircraft, Helicopters, and activities through out the day. We will have activities for all levels of Scouting. So prepare to have FUN!
